King 12″ 5″ 5LB Density Viscoelastic Memory Foam Mattress 
We’ve had it for a few days and haven’t used it yet. It has a chemical smell similar to packing tape. We’ve placed it in a room with a lot of ventilation. It has the ability to fill the room with
the smell.
I’m sure we could manage to fall asleep with the smell but I would like to know that it’s safe. The company has not returned any answer on this.
They did say to take off the cover and wash it. The cover now has no smell.
The smell has gotten better but it is still intense when you get close to the mattress.
Update: It is not safe: It contains TOLUENE DI ISOCYANATE 80/20 (T. D. I. ). This is a carcinogen and causes asthma. Please look up on the web and you can find information on it.

I finished moving and unpacked the mattress. When I came back from eating some food like the fat guy I am, I had to plop down on the mattress to try it out. I had blood on my leg which smeared on the memory foam. It doesn’t seem to wash out very well, so I recommend taking precautions to not get blood on your own mattress.
In all seriousness though, this deal is great, free shipping is convenient and fast, and the 5″ of memory foam beats the 3″ found in the cheaper versions. I love it!

the mattress is not as good as I expected. the problem with buying these products on the internet is that you do not have the chance to try it first. this is a very personal choice. thus, reviews from others should not influence much on your decision. a mattress that fits your body may not fits mine. you really need to try to see the product first in local stores. the smell is there. it depends on how sensible you are to smells. that determines how long and how strong you’ll feel it. be aware that if you buy this product you need a platform bed. it is not recomended to put it on top of your regular spring box.

i bought this mattress because i was going to have trouble getting a standard king mattress up my stairs due to space constraints. i’m glad i did. it does smell a little bit at first and i let it air out after pulling off all of the packaging for a few days. the smell was pretty much completely gone by then and i’m noticing it less and less. i’d say in another week or so it will be gone completely. this is my first memory foam mattress and i have to say that i’m impressed. it feels really firm when you first lay down but it conforms to your body perfectly in just a few seconds. i literally fell asleep within the first 30 seconds i laid down on it the first time. i had heard that foam mattresses could get too hot. doesn’t seem to be the case with this one. love it!
